Re: Bombard aerotec 380
Hi there and welcome!
Many say the bombards were good boats in their day, nowadays most have started suffering the old glue failure. Perhaps look at what I would consider to be the new king of the sibs, the Honwave T38ie ?
Keep watching the for sale section as they come up regularly.

Keep a weather eye on the other channel. They have a running thread spotting sibs for sale and Aerotec’s feature regularly.

Re: Bombard aerotec 380
Hi all, thanks for the welcome and the suggestions.
I’m aware that the bombards are prone to age related glue problems. Ideally, I’ll find one that’s as new as possible. However, for the right price I wouldn’t mind taking the risk with a potential reglue in mind in the future. I’m open to whatever anyone has to offer.
Yes I agree, big price. Although the engine does look a minter so maybe it’s worth something to someone.
I’ll keep an eye on the sales and hopefully I come across one that suits me. Maybe someone with a bombard knocking about will see my post I can do them a favour!
All the best.
