Philpot gave his son in law his old (but new) excel sib just as he bought the FRIB, so I don't think we'll be seeing the last of him

I think you are right Paul, I don't want to totally be away from boats, in fact I was out with my son in law yesterday for a couple of hours pottering down the river and rather nice it was.
I am not sure what I will do to be honest but will stay in touch with both this forum and boats of one kind or another having had sib/ribs for over 40 years it will and does feel a little strange going into the garage and finding a whole load more space than normal..........................
