Hi Sibfisher and Gray. I am about to mount a transducer on my KB350. Are you still using your telescopic and non-telescopic arms today and would you done anything differently if you were to install the transducer today?

Mine is still fine. If I am doing any major distance/speed I will lift it. It also works great with my side imaging transducer.

I bought the telescopic version, but I have just riveted it in place with no extension being used. The standard non-telescopic version would probably be more sturdy.

Good to hear, Gray. I just ordered the non-telescopic version. I will probably mount the fitting on a piece of wood at first and use a g-clamped to fix it on the transom so I can find the correct position before drilling in the transom.
