Hi All
Any tips on repacking -
Packed it once ok
last time I think it was larger than when the boat was inflated - lol
Any help appreciated..
Leave valves open - caps off etc..
I think its the part of the tube behind the transom that's the biggest problem..
Do you fold these infant of the transom or being it?
Thanks

Fully deflate, valves open, caps loosely in, fold in tubes, foam protection over any transom wheel brackets, cone ends folded in behind transom, roll up. Voila!

I think my problem is getting the air out of the tubes behind transom.. Are you using a vacuum to achieve it?

Re: Packing Elling KB350 away
Personally not a fan of sucking all air out with a pump. Just find it impossible to adjust folds in tubes as the vacuum effectively welds fabric together. We just fold up loosely, sit on it or simply wait for trapped air to escape, then re fold in a tighter package.
You could probably suck the air out, leave valves open to allow some air back in, then might be easier to adjust folds without the vacuum.
PS: We rarely bother with ‘the perfect’ roll unless space is at a premium. You could argue a looser package applies less stress on the fabric/joints etc.
