I have a Suaoki T10 Car Jump Starter 400A Peak Current with Jump Leads has 12000mAh Battery Pack with Dual USB Port and LED Flashlight .
I just had to try mine and see what happens, too easy really, I connected the crocodile leads to the battery pack then the crocs to the Bravo BTP12 air pump and hit the on button and it just worked.
So its just random as to if the jump starter needs a "black box" mine doesnt and I will now put it back in the car and forget ive even got one until I get a dud battery one winter, then I hope its got enough charge in it.
Video of my one

I figured out what was wrong with my setup. I had been using a EC-5 male plug and wire bought on Amazon. The wires were red and black and the plug had a + and - marked so I trusted it would be the same in the jump starter EC-5 female plug - but in fact the hot and netural were reversed. Duh!

Haha if that was the case I probably wouldn't have know there was a problem.
