well, we over here now its freezing and raine a lot, so as you can imagine, we are stuck and dreaming for the return of those magnificent sunny days, ;)
but I will keep post some pictures of those days,,, that way will be faster the return of the sun...
so as promise, here I go... the last two days of the 2016 were here perfect for the sibing thing, so me and family went on a two afternoon roll party with "açores".

well, for us that use to have similar sib with an Honda 8hp, with 15 EFI hp, man, we only ear a Whistle, and we find that we were over the tini shopshop of the sea.

it was a fantastic end of the year for us, and very happy with the change for this combo.
regardless, have an concern, at full throttle, it activates the rev limiter, we just decrease a tiny bit and insted of 33 kmh, stay on the 30.
things to change, the trim put in the first hole, and test.
check the tiny tach it does not have a regular reading of rpm, it marks the idle well, but them became crazy... heelp

I would have liked to have ended 2016 in the same warm sunny climate, location and sea conditions unfortunately in the UK it will never happen
Your first video proves that you are certainly a fit man ....... if it had been me I would have had the younger passengers doing all the hard work, with me helping out or better still, me filming the event
From your second video it appears that your replacement boat has a higher bow and larger tubes, thus giving a dry ride in a slight 'chop' at speed which I'm sure is an improvement over your last boat, hence why you are so happy with it.
With regard to your cavitation problem, as you say you need to experiment with the outboard trim and height to possibly eliminate the problem.
This experimenting will require the tiny tach to read accurately so make sure it is wired correctly and the settings for it are set correctly for your outboard and Happy New Year
tks, for the comments... and yes going to raise the engine and put the trim in the first hole.... but first need to put the tack give the right RPM, it blocks at 3000.... ie when we start it gives the right rpm, but soon it stops at 3000... my tack is one from honda it gives hour and rpm,, it is linked to the first spark, from the top of motor the first one... is it right mounted and the tach is off, or there is another way to mounted??

If it is a genuine Honda tachometer then you would expect it to function correctly if it is wired correctly
Make sure your connections are correct and making a proper feed (not just twisted wires together) by using a connector
All the best in the trials and investigations
Your as strong as an ox. Those wheels looked like they were a bit of a headache though. I'm going to install some danards on my boat. They seem to be the best out there with no moving parts.
I once dated a girl in High School and her Father told me I would never amount to anything. He was right!
