First outing this weekend

Post by Patrick-H » 11 Sep 2019, 14:05

Think I'm all set. Volante 360 with Suzuki 20 efi. All brand new.
I got a 6 x 4 trailer from Autobil outside Kirkcaldy which seemed good value compared to Maypole Erde etc.
Engine has to travel on its side so I've constructed a sled which lets me secure the engine before sliding it onto the trailer, leaving just enough room for the SIB alongside, and means I can move it around more easily.
1st outing - running in hours 1 and 2 (at least) so will be going on my own from Port Edgar (Firth of Forth) as its a sheltered marina with a gentle slip, which means I can follow the instructions.... 5 minutes at idle, 15 minutes at lowest speed in gear ...
Forecast looks reasonable for the weekend, and low tide is 09:30.
Pics to follow...
