Mercury Bigfoot 25hp

Hi everyone, I’ve got a honwave t40 and been given a 2006 4 stroke mercury Bigfoot 25hp outboard in exchange for some work I’ve done.
Everyone seems to have 2 stroke engines on their sibs.
Has any else used a bigfoot outboard on their sib and if so was it ok?
