It is hard to believe that an outboard I pretty much built by souring parts, Inc power head has been sitting in the garage for 2 years. It was covered in dust and cob webs.
I fired it up and she started straight away. Two issues though.
1. She isn't pumping water
2. Carb is leaking fuel.
So not too bad at all really. I have a carb rebuild kit somewhere around here and I will order a new pump and housing.

Well chaps
1) Carb stripped and rebuilt
2) Complete new water pump installed
3) New wiring loom made for the Kill switch
4) All parts greased up
5) Complete new thermostat fitted
The pee water is really strong and has a slight sting to it when you put your fingers there.
