Kill Switch - Cord / Loop. Mariner 6hp

Post by Richard2Barwell » 26 Jul 2016, 13:46

I apologise in advance for what I think is a daft question...

I'd just bought an aftermarket kill cord / switch for my OB. Having looked at it in a little more detail, am I right in thinking these OB's switch should be compatible as standard? It my first OB...

Having looked online, does the mariner lanyard go around the switch and held when in the 'run' position; obviously released to kill ghe engine. Finally is it the loop style fitting which I would need to order?

Thanks!
