Non-Honda Launch Wheels Void Warranty?

In my troubles with finding suitable launch wheels, the marina I bought my honwave from just mentioned that whether they or I fit them, it voids the warranty. Also, the Honda wheels don't come recommended!

So, it's a bit of weird situation to find that Honda wheels aren't suggested as the most suitable but also that I'd lose the warranty.

Have you guys discussed this with dealers etc. before?
