So they sent me out a new foot pump as the first had a leak and i couldnt get the floor pressure above 0.4 bar. The second pumps plastic top split when i was pumping and after i checked the floor which only at 0.5 bar, i am not a fan of these bellow foot pumps as it only is rated at maxium pressure of 1.0 bar.
So i have ordered a bravo stirrup pump which can pump up to a maxium of 2.0 bar as i wouldnt want to over inflate it with an electric high pressure pump.
This is hard work and i havnt even been able to get on the water yet!

Hi Steeevo, the electric pumps have selectable pressure limiters where they cut off so you should be ok with them. Of course even they could go wrong and seeing your luck so far....

Re: New Honwave T32 Owner
I bought a new honwave last month. The supplied foot pump hose was useless. It developed a small hole in the hose after the second or third use and completely severed on the fourth! Annoying as it was useful to speed up the inflation process alongside my bravo electric pump.steeevo wrote: ↑22 Jun 2020, 14:08Are the honwave bellow pumps really not that good. I can hear a leak from the hose connection at the pump end when trying to get the pressure into the floor. Taking a long time!
I have the coleman recharchable pump to get the majority of the air in there which works well but trying to get the floor to 0.8 bar with the bellows is hard/long
As others have said the electric pumps have an adjustable pressure limit so dont worry about over inflating. Make sure you get a big enough external battery. I thought my pump was a bit weak but turns out is sapped the 7AH battery quicker than I expected. Id reccomend a 20AH. I have a 10AH and it just about manages a full inflate.
