Assuming both sides or the floor were pumped up to 0.8 Bar at the time those pictures were taken, I'd say that keel wasn't symmetrical.

Hi Chris, yes both side of the floor was pumped to 0.8 with an High pressure electric boat pump and checked with manometer. It does look one side is higher than the other side.

Not sure what to do !

To satisfy myself I'd bung a spirit level across the bow in the position you have shown in your last pic, proving it was level. If the keel still appears lop-sided, which is very clear in the last pic currently, I'd send it back as defective and show them the pics.
Then there is the issue of the dents in what is a hard keel strake.
Me? I'd return it and carry out the same imspection on your replacement. So disapointed for you but there have been a few rogue ones over the last year or so but to date they have all been replaced hassle free.
I'm not really a Hobbit, just look like one. Real name is "Andy".

I would be talking to the Honda dealer that supplied the boat and be asking them to instigate a warranty claim with Honda.

I would send it back, looks just like how mine was, Honwave seem to have changed something in how they are made, the earlier ones are much better made in the floor area

Thank you all for your replies. I purchased it from Golden Arrow in Portsmouth and sent an email to Dave. I will call them tomorrow and ask for a replacement and will inspect the new one on collection.

I agree with the comment above. One of the marks is very deep and just based on that it should be replaced.

I will keep everyone posted with the outcome.

Oscar

Here is a quick lineup to show both sides

Golden Arrow will get in touch with Honda. More faffing , less boating !

It seems to take a while for Honda to assess a warranty claim so don't expect an answer straight away. From memory both my warranty claims took 3 to 4 weeks from start to finish.

His contract is with the supplying dealer not Honda, just reject the hull as not fit for purpose and either ask for your money back or a new boat, EBC just sent me a new boat out, my hull looked very much like this one, and even EBC was concerned about it, I had a new boat sent out pretty soon after I’d reported the issue
