Golly, I thought most serious companies have moved away from such strict application of their warranty, especially on high value products which are routinely modified as part of their use.reyes wrote: ↑27 Sep 2023, 09:46That's good to know Gray, thanks. And, did you ever speak to a dealer or anyone about whether it voids warranty? I started another thread about it but don't think anyone's bitten yet. Apparently, I'm told Honda's position is if you put non-Honda wheels on a Honwave then goodbye warranty (which is a bit silly in my opinion if you get a leak at the bow!)
You could still make a claim under consumer rights, which are separate from the warranty. I always buy direct or from large dealers as they're more set up for these claims, know the rules, and therefore tend to be more reasonable/
