That's good to know Gray, thanks. And, did you ever speak to a dealer or anyone about whether it voids warranty? I started another thread about it but don't think anyone's bitten yet. Apparently, I'm told Honda's position is if you put non-Honda wheels on a Honwave then goodbye warranty (which is a bit silly in my opinion if you get a leak at the bow!)

Golly, I thought most serious companies have moved away from such strict application of their warranty, especially on high value products which are routinely modified as part of their use.

You could still make a claim under consumer rights, which are separate from the warranty. I always buy direct or from large dealers as they're more set up for these claims, know the rules, and therefore tend to be more reasonable/

Mine are installed on an Elling KB350, so can't help with the warranty thing.

Something like that.. I'm sure suprod give you clearances on the specs.. I dont think the fold flat ones are long enough to clear the inflatable floor depth though.

I suspect Clive's reference on the rugged wheels is the one I started and it's not gone very smoothly for me (they don't seem to fit) so I may be in the market for others.

Question for you Peter: when your wheels are down can you drop your outboard and still move it around freely or do you need to tilt?

Sorry for the Delay - Yes still full movement with wheels up & down - I spent hours working out the widest fitment to make it more stable when being rolled & to give full clearance when down and still allow them to swing up - and just touch the top of the transom to stop any wobble or vibration etc .

When I got mey T32 the dealer ( What was Bridger Marine in Exeter ) offered to fit non honwave wheels - so I'd hope any warranty would stil be valied ( Even though I fitted mine myself - but my 2 year warranty runs out next month anyway !)

It's weird about the warranty mention. Hopefully I won't need it.

I fitted mine last week too and got some extendable ones so I can throw the outboard on the back before tilting it forward (so I don't transport it tilted or require a frame to stick the 46kg beast on) and it works a treat!

Something I do think I may be tempted with is a 'Dinghy Dolly' (bow wheels). Have any of you guys used them? I read one review that said it makes it a lot easier to pull up a slipway...
