Hi folks.
Couple of things of really. Received our Honwave 38 this week so been busy doing a couple of bits to it, including adapting the F Rib 360 spray dodger to fit the Honwave. Gotta say, quite pleased with the mod really.
I've been looking for launching wheels for the Honwave, and after reading many woes about the originals, thought I had found a "heavy duty" set rated at 130kg. When I rang the supplier, he had the decency to tell me they were Chinese copies, and has now altered the load to 120kg!!
To cut a long story short, I'm struggling to find any wheels other than the Honwave own, so can anybody advise me please where to buy the heavy duty wheels from? My boat and engine are about 94 kg, so was looking for a little more room for weight. I have found a few links from various people, but when this is viewed, they generally show as no longer available.
I need the launch wheels as some of the time I will be away in my caravan, so trailer not an option, so any help will be appreciated. Also, pleased to be able to say the finish on the Honwave is really good with no visible issues to the hull etc.
Thanks in advance.
Loz

Hi guys
Yes the cranked type of launch wheels for sibs seems to be an issue at the moment with the market flooded with cheap copies that have excessive play/movement in them and prone to failure
I had some that were heavy duty from Barnet Marine some 5 years ago which proved perfect for the job however visiting their on-line shop they don't seem to have the heavy duty in stock.
Maybe all is not lost though
after having a search Anglesey Marine Supplies list some and as I've purchased 2-3 items from them in the past and all the items were as described/fit for purpose I think they're worth a try
They list a heavy duty set as per the screenshot

All the very best and please report back if they're suitable
I'm sure there'll be some interest
