Honestly, I don’t think that limiting viewing is going to help anyone.
If the forum is going to end then I would be prepared to find a means of hosting it as read only so that people searching with google can still find the information we have spent the last few years entering.

Re: IMPORTANT ... Have your say, Is it time for change?
This forum was responsible for getting me back into boating at a very dark time in my life, and for that I will always have place for it in my heart. However, the turtle moves and things change. I haven’t been able to give it the time it deserves recently, and I am not boating enough with my sib to ...

Re: How do you launch?
It really depends on where you are launching. One great thing with a whaly is that they are essentially indestructible which gives you some options. 1) anchor. Drop the anchor and leave the boat floating while you park up 2) tie up. Depends on the site, but there could be somewhere to tie up - maybe...

Mine weren’t from boat world (it wasn’t around at that point) but I don’t think they were genuine Honda ones.

Re: Prepping the Ranieri Revolution 4.55 for the Mooring
Looking good.
It never fails to amaze me just how much weed can grow on a boat on a mooring. I pulled a rib out after a scant two weeks and there was a three foot length of weed attached to the bottom of the skeg (bloody thing sits in the water even with the OB tilted right up)

Re: 380 vtype air floor boat.
I used the swan-neck style wheels on my honwave and never had a problem with them. the only time I ever scraped my boat up the beach I cut a 12” hole in the bottom of it (not my air-floor boat, thankfully). Given that you have launch wheels I would suggest the following landing routine: Put the whee...

Re: My new Rib
When we bought our Suzuki 50 we kept getting an overheat alarm. It turned out to be a result of a couple of different things: The impeller had been fitted using regular silicon grease and it had traveled around the engine and bunged up some of the smaller passages. We stripped it down and rebuilt th...

Re: New member
F-Ribs are great little boats, but like all small ribs they can slam a bit in rough seas but they are more capable of handling the seas than your spine is! What I mean by that is that you will turn around and head back to shore before you reach the limit of the boat. I would recommend the 360 as a m...

Re: Does the company still exist?
There was a guy on here a few years back who had a 430 with a 25 or 30ho evinrude ecotec and he loved it.
