Re: F-RIB 360 with tohatsu 15HP for sale

That looks to be a lovely package, I had a 330 with canopy and a 15hp Parsun 2 stroke which I miss more than I care to think about, the joys of redundancy and retirement. I only wish I could afford yours, I would be on my way to Scotland although ideally the package I had was better for me to handle...

Kayak boat

Hello guys, it has been a long time since I have been on here but it is never too late. I have not had a boat for some time with my F-Rib 330 sadly missed but as I am getting on in years and fancying another boat, the thought of a kayak boat as they seem to be called now, most of which take up to a ...

Hello Neil, I see you have been looking after my old 330 very well, only wish the pension would stretch and I would have it back.

Best regards

Re: 360 or 330 ?

I had the 330 until recently and for my fishing with two people it was perfect BUT my fishing was all fresh water although it is fair to say that over here on the east coast, there are quite a few guys who fish two up in similar size boats. Forget the 20hp, 15hp is more than enough power.

Re: F-Rib roof rack mounting and beaching

The 330 is more than capable of doing what you ask and folded fits in my VW Passat estate with the back seats up. I don't think a 6hp is enough for strong sea conditions and would not be out with anything less than a 10hp but that is just me. As an ex kayak fisherman, I really do see why you would w...

Re: F-rib tube inflation

You say air is escaping but are you saying air is coming from the valve once you have removed the pump. The only safe way to be sure of the pressure in the tubes is to use a 12v pump with gauge and cut off limit or a foot / hand pump and a manometer which is a bloody handy thing to have anyway so yo...

Re: Fish Finders

To be honest, you will not go far wrong with a Garmin ff, easy to use and very reliable. I had a Hummingbird which I had kicking about, didn't like it much but hey ho. I did a test with the transducer which was based on how we used to mount them in fishing kayaks. In most cases we used either silico...

Re: F-rib tube inflation

I would take a guess that your foot pump is not working to spec. Do you have access to another pump to try but to be honest your best solution is to buy a 12v electric pump and the best ones are made by Bravo, available from ebay and most dealers. The 12v pump will pump your Frib up to full pressure...

Re: Frib330 /15hp package and 2.5hp all NOW SOLD

I think you are right Paul, I don't want to totally be away from boats, in fact I was out with my son in law yesterday for a couple of hours pottering down the river and rather nice it was. I am not sure what I will do to be honest but will stay in touch with both this forum and boats of one kind or...
