Ian. That’s definetly a long shaft engine, as Martin says. The T32 is designed for a short shaft engine, whilst it works as it is, you won’t get the best from it , I was getting around 22 knots with my 15hp 4 stroke That's fast Paul it was fast enough going 17 knots... I may try for an engine swap ...

Finally got the boat out yesterday from Newhaven slip. £10 per self launch. The 7ah battery didn't have enough power to pump the boat fully so one side of the deck was 0.5 bar instead of 0.8. Anyhow then the vhf only had one bar of battery left (must check the safety equipment) but it did last 5 hrs...

If you're gon'a find a leak that's the best one to have to replace :thumbsup I'd also have a good look at the one under the water pump, it's pence to replace at this stage. Check the Prop shaft for play. If there's no play in the shaft, chances are the seal will be ok. Think I fooked up when I put ...

Under very little pressure frim small bike pump. It leaks easily from the gear rod. Am i taking the housing base off or just replacing the grommet. Ok the oil looks like that![emoji17] the water pipe up to the engine had a plastic thing placed over the copper pipe but this clearly isn't the right bit? The plate under the impeller is bent does this matter? The housing to the impeller is worn slightly and there were 2 plastic washers either side ...
