Great thread.
I'm impressed with your seat that you have had made.
I have a Humber Rib and I'm considering one of there inflatables or a small 3.4 meter solid hull, and seeing your seating arrangement has given me food for thought. I would probably trailer anyway so it could be a good option.

What weight will Honwave launch wheels carry?
I'm condidering an upgrade to a 4 stroke outboard from my current 2 Stroke 15hp Yam. I'm hoping to up the power...but that means additional weight. I don't have lauch wheels at the moment, but i'm considering them. Lets say I get a 20hp Tohatsu, along with the T40 that will be around 140kg Will the ...

Re: Poole harbour cruise in company in Oct or Nov
I'd be up for it if I have another SIB by then.
It's also a long drive from Yorkshire for me.

Re: Next SIB
Honwave t32ie is around 37kg. That should be an easy enough lift. I'm in the fortunate (or unfortunate depending how you look at it) position of looking to change my car shortly. I could tailor the choice of new vehicle to SIB use. I could even get a van. How do you find the 20hp for lifting? Is it ...

Next SIB
I'm missing my Honwave T40 already.....and I'm looking into getting another SIB to keep at home. Mission profile: Be light enough to lift in and out of my RAV4 solo, and light enough for one person to get it down to the water (I'm thinking launching wheels). Big enough to carry 2 people with a bit o...

Re: A SIB to the Scillies
Apologies for the delay in posts on this thread. Internet connection on the Islands is not 100% reliable, and after writing a couple of posts that didn't upload, I gave up and decided to complete the post when I got back. Today is my first day off since getting back home and has given me chance to u...

Re: Digital charts
I've been looking at options for electronic charts for use with my Honwave. Take the Lowrance elite 4 HDI as an example....If I wanted to run one..would I need a battery? If I got an outboard with a 12v output, can I just connect straight to that? What is the connection method to the 12v supply on a...
