Re: Beachmaster Wheels on F-Rib
Albasmac If you are getting the removable ones then you do not need any bolts. The pictures earlier in this topic show the positioning. Depending on the F-rib model you are mounting them on you need to make sure that the studs clear the curved joint between the transom and the floor on the inside. T...

On my order Customs Duty was about £3 and the Clearance Fee was approx £13. You then need to factor in VAT which is applied to goods, postage and insurance. Unlikely to be under £240 total on current exchange rate.

Re: Beachmaster Wheels on F-Rib
Kaman If you want to test if the Beachmasters will fit your boat try the PDF templates that are available on the Beachmaster website. It needs a bit of sticky tape to combine A4 printouts but you can check the dimensions to make sure you have the scale correct. I did this and it worked perfectly. Ke...

Re: Beachmaster Wheels on F-Rib
Martin Some additional shots. As you can see the wheels are clear when retracted but there is room to mount them higher if you wish. Beachmaster give guidelines for the minimum clearance (10mm clearance from tyre to the bottom of the boat hull) in their instructions http://www.beachmaster.co.nz/#!re...

Re: Beachmaster Wheels on F-Rib
The trailer in the photos is an Extreme 500KG Roller. I'll post some additional photos and experiences with it shortly. I looked at the Indespension range but it came down to price. The Extreme purchased from E-Trailers in Cornwall http://www.e-trailers.co.uk was cheaper than than the equivalent pur...

Beachmaster Wheels on F-Rib
A couple of pictures of my F-Rib375 with Beachmaster removable wheels. This means I now have a brand-new unused pair of F-Rib official launch wheels for sale. Any offers? BeechmasterUp.png BeechmasterDown.png Fitting requires precision drilling as any slight misalignment means it is hard to mount/un...

Re: Hello
Thanks for all the helpful replies, the advice is very much appreciated. Encouraged by the comments I went to see the F-Rib 375 in the flesh at Clyde Outboard Services yesterday and was really impressed. Just need to make an outboard decision now!
Thanks again

Hello
I've been lurking for a while but wanted to say thanks for all the advice contained here. I'm on the verge of buying my first powered boat and have been swithering between a F-Rib and a Sib for a while (the thread on leaking pressure release valves may just have pushed me over the threshold to a Sib...
