Re: Another what size engine question
I know what you mean with the thought and planning. I’d tied 50kg up (some weights discs and kettle bells) with rope, in order to see what the weight would be like. Hadn’t quite prepared myself for the irregular shape of an outboard whilst carrying though. Definitely wouldn’t want anything heavier!

Anyone know of a good iphone clamp?
Hi, I'm just embarking on making a battery box, mainly for my Garmin Striker. I'd also like to have my Iphone next to it. I've been looking at numerous clamps but they all have mixed reviews. Does anybody have any experiences with any? I was also looking at motorbike Iphone cases that I can jsut zip...

Hello from East Devon (No fixed date)
Hi, completley new to sibbing. I've just got my kit together and I'm waiting for warmer weather slightly to get out.
I'm based around Exmouth and was hoping to get out with a more experienced sibber for my first time. Just reaching out really to see if anuone else is in the vicintiy?
Thanks

Re: Honwave T3.8IE Additional Seat DIY
As a newbie, this is exactly what I've been looking for. I didn't know that you could buy the seat clips seperatley and therefore been dreaming up all manner of webbing methods to attach a diy seat too. They have gone up in price now though, £21.99 in the bay of E's at moment.

Re: Reed Chill cheater
I’ve got the chillcheater smock. I use it for shore fishing, however I will be using it when I’m on the sib this year. It’s brilliant piece of kit. Way better than the Vass smock that I have too. The servicing that this company provides on damaged garments is fantastic also

Re: Another what size engine question
Thanks Martin, I've been looking at around the 10 -15hp range but that's really helpful regarding the weight. Sadly at this stage I'll be looking toward the second hand market. There's a few of the Honda BF's 10 and 15hp 4 strokes down my neck of the woods at the moment; would you have any experienc...

Another what size engine question
Hi, I've just bought an Honwave T35 ae and now begins the minefeild of engine searching and sourcing, looking mainly second hand due to budget. The Honwave's max is 20 HP, which when looking at the 4 stroke and some 2 stroke seem quite weighty. I've been looking toward a 15HP Mariner or suzuki, howe...

Hello from East Devon
Hello, I look forward to gleaning as much information as I can from you guys.
I've just bought my first SIB an Honwave T35 and now watching every possible youtube vid on boat safety, buoy markers, radio use and what seems to be a constant question...what engine size?!
Thanks for having me.
