seems hopeful that they will start to be made in Europe and become available again.
Also has pictures of a new logo (not as nice as the older one, but still...)

Re: Research
I know this is an old thread, but the 2 part trolley pictured really is (as described) unique. It looks as if it could be really useful. Any more details on this?

Re: SIB bow box and electrical panel
sladonians,
I must say that your bow box looks incredibly impressive!
Has it stood the test of time?
Would you mind listing the items you have on and in it, and giving more details? I'm very inclined to try something similar.

Re: Evening all.
Ian71,
I'm in the same position now, as you were 4 years ago - living in the Midlands, with a newly acquired SIB, and looking for local places to launch (lakes and rivers).
What suggestions for local launches do you have after 4 years experience? (Or, of course, anyone else!)

Re: Tilting a four stroke engine
So there's a baffle keeping the oil in the sump.
Does anyone have a diagram of that? - I'm having trouble visualising how it would work.

Re: Easy-Motor-Toter
Harrison,
I don't understand your combi outboard trolley/trailer dolly. What does the tow ball do? Do you attach it to your trailer and pull both? Doesn't the tow ball get in the way of the lower part of the outboard?
I'm confused.

Tilting a four stroke engine
I'm reasonably familiar with small 4 stroke engines (the terrestrial ones at least!), and understand why you can't tilt them very much from the horizontal: oil from the sump will leak into the cylinders, and also, if you have a float-style carburetor, it will not be able to function. This is so much...
