So glad to see it being put to good use Ian.
My original plan was to buy a spare battery, although they are quite expensive, and hook up the used battery to a solar panel to recharge whilst on the move or moored up.
Enjoy.

Re: Epropulsion 1.0 Spirit EVO Remote
Hi Ian, The engine is Short Shaft and the remote is top mount. I have charged the battery a few times whilst stored but it's just topping it up really. Charged it today and it took about an hour. I intended to make my own steering box and mount the remote throttle and the steering box on the thwart ...

SOLD: Quicksilver AluRib 350 (2022) Unused

Re: SIb and engine combination.
Thanks Tyger,
I'm still awaiting a reply from Meridian Marine for the Excel/Tohatsu combo - but I'm told I'm not allowed a new boat until I have sold my river cruiser which is going up for sale shortly.
I must admit I am quite taken with the Vanguard and might even go for the larger 485.

Re: SIb and engine combination.
Since posting I have looked around at various other makes and spoken to friends who own SIBS. The verdict so far is that the make is not as big as others offering similar sized boats for not a lot more. I haven't written the Bison off but I have just asked for a quote for one of these with either a ...
