Carrying outboard - honda bf6

Perhaps an obvious question... I’ve seen online + in manual that you need to be pretty careful when transporting a 4-stroke outboard, to make sure you have it right way up so as not to get oil into cylinder etc. On the hondas, to store for transport this is stated as ‘tiller side up’. But I’m a bit ...

Re: New honwave arrived - manometer issue

Oh, and thanks for the tips on the pressure gauge. I got a Bravo BTP pump at the same time, given i was doing initial tests in the flat, I didn’t think the neighbours would appreciate the noise much once it got into ‘high pressure’ mode, so stopped at that point and topped up a bit with the foot pum...

Re: New honwave arrived - manometer issue

Yes - mount points for two seats seem to be included as standard, at least for the t32. So I’ve just added a second seat, which seems like it’s an original Honda part. Incidentally, I was surprised just how heavy the seats are! I guess they can take quite a hit if bouncing? Anyone replaced them with...

Re: New honwave arrived - manometer issue

Here we go, a few pics... the observant amongst you might notice that this is the living room in my flat... (the whole living room  ) It only came with 1 seat, but I grabbed the second when I saw one going on ebay, whilst sorting out getting shipping on the boat. 20210225_205300.jpg 20210225_20...

New honwave arrived - manometer issue

Following on from thread a few months back, finally got my new honwave t32-ie (latest model) delivered. Inflated it up, and really happy with it - overall looks and feels like a really quality piece of kit. One issue though, I can’t seem to get any reading on the manometer...I’m not sure if I’m misu...

Re: New Honwave ???

Actually, something else I just picked up on - looks like for 2021 model they’re recommending this official wheel kit, which seems like it doesn’t have to have the bends for the tabs? https://seamarknunn.com/acatalog/Honwave-Inflatable-Boat-Stern-Wheel-Kit-H206427ZV5T01HE.html#SID=666 In the descrip...

Re: New Honwave ???

Does the new T32-IE have two seat mounting points built in from new? I’ve been looking to buy one (see other thread), and was just comparing photos of old model with new, and I can’t quite work out whether the online retailers are mixing up photos of the different sizes of the new models (limited st...

Re: new user - honwave availability

One of the two got back to me - probably should just be a bit more patient with shops closed with lockdown and all that. Does anyone have the official boat-bag that's for the t24 up to t32? Looking to try and find its dimensions, as thinking about transport and storage. On the other accessories.. [*...

new user - honwave availability

Hi All, Just signed up to the forum as a new user. This started with me deciding to replace the outboard that came with a sailboat i've had a while - the engine is 20years old now, and after something newer I can feel a bit more trust in and a few extra HP for tidal areas. Came across the honwaves w...
