Hi there, when i first got my XHD Vanguard 395 i transported it Bagged and the floor in a separate bag in the boot of my Ford Edge... i would have to lower a seat though to accommodate the 20hp suzi..

I think i will have to replace rear pads with a roller also, had trouble getting it off the trailer for a small bit, so a bit of mod is in progress.

First run out..

A quick video of my run around the river to try out the new rig. Excel Vanguard XHD 395 & Suzuki 20hp ... i have since in the last day replaced the standard prop with another one so will have to get back in to test drive again and see the comparisons.

Yes indeed... I did have a few thoughts about size and weight for my time of life now.. not the fittest guy.. and having missed my 4 days a week golf i am even worse.. but given that the boat did pull easier with engine on was my biggest worry, yeh looking forward to next run and new trailer will ar...
