Re: Any slipway open on the Yorkshire or Lincolnshire coast?

Thanks Gray.
Beach launch is ok for my sib but not possible for my mates rib. He is an experienced boater who was going to come on my sib for my first few outings. Due to social distancing this is not now possible so was going to take his rib and observe and advise from a safe distance.

Re: Any slipway open on the Yorkshire or Lincolnshire coast?

Thanks beerbelly. We have and have found all the slips but unfortunately due to Covid-19 we haven't found one that is open.

Any slipway open on the Yorkshire or Lincolnshire coast?

Hi Guys and Gals, it's been a while since I posted on here, I hope you are all well. We are looking for any slipways that are open on the yorkshire or Lincolnshire coast so my mate can launch his rib. I have a sib but haven't been able to use it yet due to covid-19 and need him to sail along with me...

Re: Anywere to sail local to Derbyshire?

The Farndon/Trent trip sounds good. That could be a good starting point as not too far away from home. Definitely want to do Ullswater some time in the near future. I will keep updated as to when SIB arrives and go from there.

Re: Anywere to sail local to Derbyshire?

My SIB should be with me mid to end of February so looking forward to an outing as soon as the weather is agreeable after that. I would ideally like to meet up with experienced SIB pilots to ensure I don't do anything I shouldn't on my first trip out.

Re: Anywere to sail local to Derbyshire?

E10BACNS is the model no. The one in the link looks about right but what a price.

Re: Anywere to sail local to Derbyshire?

That's good to hear. The only thing I would like to replace is the seal around the hood. I don't know if this is something that is available online anywhere.
