Re: Gas consumption
I would say you want the 3 gallon tank full for 8 hours on the water. There is only one way to find out. That is take it out and see what you use.

Re: Wheels for the latest Honwave T32?
Those are a good price. I have similar with underslung wheels. Had mine 3 years and still going strong. That's good to know Gray, thanks. And, did you ever speak to a dealer or anyone about whether it voids warranty? I started another thread about it but don't think anyone's bitten yet. Apparently,...

I've gone for these: https://www.tradeinn.com/waveinn/en/tal ... 38564391/p
They're a bit pricey but I like the idea of being able to extend the legs.

Re: Borika Mounts for the Elling 350KB
Mine is still fine. If I am doing any major distance/speed I will lift it. It also works great with my side imaging transducer.
I bought the telescopic version, but I have just riveted it in place with no extension being used. The standard non-telescopic version would probably be more sturdy.

Re: Elling KB350 and sup rod wheels template / measurements
I assume you are talking about the folding wheels!!
I looked at them a few years ago when I bought my Elling. They won’t fit for a variety of reasons, mainly because the transom is to narrow.

Re: Trailer
I got rid of my trailer. It was more hassle than it was worth. I can have the boat out of the car and rigged in 20 mins.

One way to avoid the small stuff is up your hook and bait size. Alternatively, if the water is clear enough fish with jigs and lures.

Re: Side Imaging Transducer Mount
I have just ordered a side imaging unit. Am I right in assuming that side imaging uses a fine/narrow beam and not a large cone shaped beam like down imaging!? I have bought mine to do a bit of wreck fishing over the winter. Should make life a bit easier when trying to find them. What units are you f...

Re: Elling KB350 Maiden Voyage & Flooding
I have stuffed mine into a wave once and filled the boat with water. We were in a big sea and doing 17mph jumping the waves. That shouldn't happen under the conditions you describe. As the others have said it is probably due to trim or weight distribution. On my Tohatsu 9.8 I have it set on the 3rd ...
