Launch for Arisaig area? Honwave airdeck+15hp o/b
Hi Got the boat setup last year, and desperate to get out and use it. Obviously some big restrictions at the moment, but campsites are starting to open. Is it possible to launch around this area, specifically from one of the campsites (Camusdarach)? I usually camp at Resipole with a slipway. Got lau...

Re: Itiwit vs Bravo + battery
I went with the Sevylor that runs off the car 12v socket. £49, works treat and sorts the high pressure floor with oomph to spare. Very pleased.. ..

Re: Itiwit vs Bravo + battery
Thanks for the replies. Great info and experiences shared. There's a lot to consider. Things like the Itiwit 50/75 output I think will be too slow. I like the set up of the rechargeable bravo, but much slower than the 2 stage bravo that needs a battery. ( on an extended camping trip with the SIB I m...

Re: Itiwit vs Bravo + battery
Thanks, great information. I don't fancy a 45 min wait. I thought the bravo ge20/21 at £150 since it had charger, battery and pump together, might be a runner but not sure how many litres per min. Good to know the itiwit can inflate beyond required t38 floor pressure.

Re: Itiwit vs Bravo + battery
Thanks for the replies, very helpful. The floor needs 15psi, I think the itiwit is 14.5? Has it got enough oomph? Looking at the replies I guess it has. Also thinking of the rechargeable bravo I've seen for £150. Easy to charge and dispenses with the need for a battery. But still expensive. The itiw...

Itiwit vs Bravo + battery
Hi, Ok, used the foot pump once on the T38. That was enough. Saw a guy using a bravo with a car battery. I've done a bit of research and want to keep costs down if possible. How is the Itiwit with a decent car battery? Or should I play safe, pay the extra and go for the bravo? I'm thinking of a car ...

Re: Extra seat for T38
Same here. Thought I'd use the proper paint etc. but it's still rather soft, not hardened, and I'm not sure how robust the finish will be. Just checked the tin, it's Dulux Weathershield dove grey. The paint was the most expensive bit...

Re: Extra seat for T38
Hi Sonny,
The seat clips were £12, ply for free, and a pot of exterior wood paint. Routed the top edge for effect. Weighs about the same as the original. I was surprised at the cost of the H/wave replacement seat.... I'll put the saving towards a fish finder.
