G'day Tellum
I have only ever used a tiller on a hired boat, didn't like it at all. That looks like a good setup and I hope you have many hours of fun, and post more pics and even videos.

So, the moral of the story is, "don't put a heated seat in your car."

Fitting Rod Holders
Hi there
I wanted a way to fit Accessories to my boat and remove them if required. I came up with the "False Deck."
I have attached a video, hope you like it.

Simrad
I attended the Perth Boat Show today and my main interest was Echo Sounders/GPS.
I had intentions of maybe looking at a Lowrance but the Simrad caught my eye, especially the ease of navigating the functions.
Does anyone here have a Simrad and what is your impression of them.
Thanks

Re: Towing a rib
Okaaay, I seem to be on my own here as I always tow with the ducks back on the boat. Never had any problems with pressures or damage, better fuel economy as the boat is more aerodynamic with the ducks back up & over the engine. Not sure about all these atmospherics, aren’t they the things that make...

Re: Towing a rib
I had thought about the movement of the cover on the tubes doing damage, but then the 4x4 punches a fairly large hole in the air and I think there might not be any more movement than a stormy day parked up. 'tis the hole that a vehicle punches through the air that is one of the problems. High press...
