Re: Fixing a swivel seat to a SIB bench seat
Hi I want to fit a swivel bracket and seat to my SIB bench seat. Hoping that will make life more comfortable for driving the boat and fishing. Is this safe to do or does it risk the seat detaching from the ‘rails’. Can’t see height being an issue as surely it’s only going to be 6 inches higher? Any...

Re: Ullswater
@Sonofgum that's fantastic Thankyou. You’ve actually answered another question too, I was contemplating trying a mounting ring adhered to the hull, looks like you’ve successfully managed that. Have you used a two part adhesive ? Martin :cheers @Martin No I used the only glue I had which is the Poly...

Ullswater
IMG_4168.JPG Have been out several times this year on the lake but just wanted to document my latest trip with my grandson Jake. We launched from Park foot at Pooley bridge, you can see from the photo they have built a nice new shiny jetty. Have mixed feelings about this as it takes up a lot of the...

Re: Northern Trip with the SIb
So we got out on the lake on day 2 and it rained a bit. We still had a good day however. Here is a little video of our day out on Ullswater https://youtu.be/ASccZ31FWiA I've got mixed feelings about that jetty. Its all very nice and all but the problem is its a very narrow beach and as the season p...

Re: Railblaza & Scotty mounts
Yeah, look good quality to me too, and on the whole cheaper to boot. Massive range of kit available if Boatworld do decide to widen their range. http://borika.ua/en/production/133 Only have one item to date, a transducer mount to clear those pesky floor tabs on the T38. At £35 including mount, much...

Re: Park Foot Holiday Park on Lake Ullswater
Being a local I've boated on Ullswater many times and it can get very choppy. Sometimes you get caught out, travelling down to Glenridding on a lovely day only for the weather to turn on the way back so a soaking can ensue. Re; the rain, yep Cumbria isn't coloured green by accident ! Just something ...
