Scarborough Harbour Slip

Postby pedro916 » 27 Mar 2018, 16:17

Took the sib to Scarborough for its first outing , The slipway is situated opposite the golden ball pub, its a bit pricey at £14.80 but you can't beach launch anywhere in Scarborough so it has to be paid. the Harbour master is situated in the little white watch tower on the very end of west pier he will take your payment and open the gate to allow access to the slipway and he is normally there from 6am onwards.
Please note you will have to be early to get parked as its a very busy resort and insurance is asked for before launching . Car parking is very close by and access to good fishing grounds are not far away.

Is there parking for a trailer there. I always struggle to park the car in Scarborough never mind a trailer as well. I have opted for Brid this year. Boat is stored at the tractor launching site at south cliff, expensive but no hassle. I would fancy coming to Scarborough if you guys have a get together.

Sorry for the delay, yes there's a trailer park just onto marine drive.
