Hi Paul.
I'm using an old Samsung Galaxy 5.
Clicked on all three links in your post and all three worked fine.

Clicked the links all work fine, but no video thumbnail as usual. Im using up to date software on a samsung galaxy s7. I know why this happens its chrome that causes this problem if you use silverlight or other op systems.

Thanks for the feedback guys :thumbsup

Ok so the thumbnails /embeded links don't work for you without a plug in :( but the direct link/URL do :D
TBH I don't know which or what plug in you need to download to make them work, so it seems it's an Android related issue :Confused

Donny
May I suggest you including the link/URL address above your embedded video links until this issue is rectified so all viewers can enjoy them

It'll be great to get an answer to this bug

:cheers

Thanks for looking into it Paul. :thumbsup

Im still lost over the technicality of it all ..and my Samsung Galaxy S6 running android 7.1 shows them no problem. :?

All I do is upload my video to Utube..copy the link its at address ..and put it between the UTube bits on this forum. However I will remember to post the link as well as embed it.
Not sure why when you do it Paul..it works for everyone ? So i must be doing something different ? :thud

Anyhoo..here is another video..it covers three short walks in the North East and touches a little of some of Scotland’s notorious history.. the clearances. The Whaligoe steps are worth a visit if in the area ..and they are not well advertised ... as some fear the steep steps are dangerous for tourists.. but they are well maintained by locals and no problem assuming you don’t try to0 run down them.

Cracking video as ever Gurnard - excellent history lesson thrown in to boot!.
I was actually meant to meet up with one of my mates in Golspie last week but the Scottish rain put paid to that.
He has acess to a lovely wee cottage on the beach that his in laws kindly allow him access to.
Attended his wedding in Dornoch a few years ago.
Luvly part of the country.

Sorry guys, just getting caught up somewhat after my 2weeks absence.
Great vids Donny as ever, and yes.. keep doing what you're doing buddy... Awesome as ever!!

I need to look into the issues that some of you are having, but from first/previous impressions i think the issue is with the browser Donny uses when he does the uploads. As far as I'm aware YouTube have a compatibility issue with "EDGE" and it's linking/playing/embedding.
We don't expect you to do anything different Donny, please just carry on as normal... Myself and Paul found a way round the silly new YouTube code some time ago, we just need to keep up to date with changing the odd defunct link that they provide. :sos :chat

Matt, this forum is geared more for the android set ups.. :gay
The ios/osx users just alter things as we need and continue shaping the forum suitable for all viewers where we can :yay :Boxsmile

Moving on, If everyone continues to load images direct to the forum and load video's to YouTube and offer up the links on the forum, myself and Paul will continue correcting anything that doesn't work and attempt to embed wherever possible. :clappy

Martin :cheers
F-RibsAndSibs.Com.... :whistle
Because it's a big old WWworld out there

Hi guys .. thanks for commenting and apologies for being so long in replying..or adding more videos. :thumbsup

As some will know..my lousy liver disease was beginning to kill me..so I cut my boating season short this year. :(

Im undergoing treatment at present ..which includes 3 months of pills.. one pill a day .. with each pill costing the NHS £600 ..so Im mighty glad I don’t pay for them or I would die ..literally. :o

Anyhoo..the pills are working even although they are not chocolate coated .. so Im beginning to recover and look forward to next year’s boating adventures. :yay

In the mean time..I hope to catch up on last summer’s videos..starting with part one of “The Summer Isles”.

I generally try to get round them once a year..as its a favourite spot.
