Just to add Paul,
As a trials bike owner you will know the advantages of lightweight. I used to be a member of the TRF and had many a fantastic ride out round the green lanes of the Yorkshire Dales back in the eighties. I rode an old DT175 Yamaha which was underpowered but very light. The guys on DR350’s et al had way more power, but when the going got shitty and we all fell off frequently, I could drag my bike out of the mud single handed and be on my way, the others were sweating and cursing . Nuff said .

Hey, if you think I could just ‘nip down’ to Oban .... have you seen the state of the roads over Invergarry at the mo !
Jury still out on 32/38 and your comments noted. I am liking the idea of lightness and ease of moving around single handed, that said, I take note of your earlier comment on another post about you wouldn’t use your boat so much if it wasn’t on a trailer . Still leaning towards the 32 at the moment.
I just wonder though, if constantly inflating/ deflating and shoving back into a store bag would do it any favours over a period, not to mention rinsing off , which would mean, in the bag, out the bag, rinse and back in the bag .... but then trailers need space to store , bearing maintenance etc etc . :LMT

As for postage costs, yeah, it’s a bummer sometimes, but I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else :cheers
Yep the roads up our way are terrible as well, it’s been well documented on the local road watch pages on Facebook about the A82/85 etc the police ordered Bear into doing something about the A85 at Connel or they would shut it as cars were actually driving on the footpaths :thud

But the offer is still there if your brave enough to try the drive down ,

The T32 is an excellent sib and would suit your needs most of the time, :thumbsup,

And yes the trials bikes are crazily light for what they are, a modern bike is I believe around 70kg or even less I just hope I won’t be dragging mine out of ruts etc on Sunday, as my first competition for a long time

This is a bit mad. The mention of trials bikes and boats.
I own a t38 and I also own a sherco trials bike. But yes modern design much lighter than the old ty250 ect this is 68kg all done. Ride it in classic trials club still though :)

I’ve had Beta evos , Scorpa etc, but have a old mont 315 as my trials iron at present , don’t ride enough to justify the crazy prices for a new one

Even had engine started for first time since October and after a few pulls she started no bother :star

Well, the weather was very kind yesterday, so it’s was a quick run down to Ganavan Sands in Oban for a hour out to get the feel of the new sib,

My old T32 was good but quite wet at WOT, whilst the new T38 didn’t put a drop over the transom, speed wise it’s lost around 2-3mph, yesterday I managed a very respectable 22.7mph, on a very calm sea, so very happy with that,
