Well all is not well with my new sib, not a happy bunny to say the least, and in no way is it a slur on the company I bought the boat from. So far they have been superb and answered all my emails very quickly

However either standards have dropped with Honwave sibs or I just got a Friday afternoon one :scratch

Once I’d fully inflated the hull and floor up to full pressure I noticed something not quite looking correct with the floor up front

Floor
So I started looking at the hull in closer detail and found that the underside of the floor isn’t right either, one side is lower than the other

Hull
The black strap is for the ducks back cover which shows the difference in the levels

Then I noticed how badly finished off the keel rubber is were it meets the fron tube

All in all not very happy with the new sib and waiting for a response back from Honda marine

Hmmmm, I'm in no way an expert on Honwaves.......but that doesn't look right mate.......

Its always a complete pisser when you buy something new and then have to get involved in a email to and fro telephone call marathon...lets hope their customer service is A1 and they send you a new one immediately

Shame Paul after the new sib excitement. That is definitely a shoddy job from the factory. My T38ie is nothing like That, floor joint is even, bottom of hull also even. That keep rubber looks like it was put on and finished by the factory typist after a visit to the stationery cupboard with the boss!
Hope you get it swapped over quickly mate - the only solution I can see to this.

You don’t happen to have any pics of your T38 inflated which show the floor Mike

What a bummer, Paul you have 30 days to return faulty goods for a full refund. After 30 days you may struggle. In case you haven't checked this out, here's a link hope it helps. Good luck Cliff

On the case already Cliff. Just waiting on a response from the dealer. So far they have been great,

They have sent photos etc to Honda marine and are waiting on a response, however it’s not right and I will be asking for a replacement boat

No pics I'm afraid Paul. Let me know if you need them and I'll inflate tomorrow for you after I get back from my first run with the Twatsu 20, onesie and dry suit looked out and if calm I'm going for it even if raining. Got to put at least 10 hrs on it before the end of Feb.
