Life is like a chocolate bar........ If you hold onto it for too long u get covered in sh☆t so...... live a life you will remember, not a life full of untested dreams.
Good stuff. Looking forward to the review. I must admit I'm very taken by Excels new aluminium hulled rigid inflatables for 2018. In particular the Excel SR 390. Could be one for the future with a Twatsu 30hp on tiller
Excel Review Part 1 :- Apologies for keeping everyone in suspense I can't begin to explain ....... and life goes on Opening the box had to be done indoors due to the adverse weather . Firstly I nipped the secure bands and cut the tape, then stood the box upright and let it down gently to the floor. Checking there were no staples catching the sib, which can damage and ruin your boat.

Once inflated it felt so solid !
The overall quality is very good and it's got that big boat feel . Inflating it was so easy and quick and no separate floor to deal with which saves time.
I inflated the sib and it filled the lounge !
This is a brilliant addition to to the bow
Check the seams as you go
Rolling the sib out checking as you go without putting your knees or body weight at any point. As you could be punctureing if there was a loose staple inside it
This is what happens , but thankfully it's not a worry
A few more photos of the unpacking inflation and inspection stages.

The 2 ond stage of the review will be kitting out .
What would be good is having the transom height in the info as well as having "suited for short shaft" . This I feel will help with making a positive choice for purchasers.
