My Mercury Ocean Runner 420

Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats, Up to 4.8M length

My Mercury Ocean Runner 420

Postby Paul » 15 Mar 2018, 22:58

I'll confess that I originally intended to purchase the hull, OB, seat, console and other ancillaries from Pacermarine to 'rig' the boat myself as I'm a very fussy fecker :shame ...... after all this might be my last boat before I have to give up boating all together  so it HAD to be just right ;-)
I've dealt with Kevin at Pacermarine over the years and long story short we agreed the layout/sizing/limits/methods etc and as they'd never let me down in the past he convinced me to entrust him with the fit out :o ..... even the Mrs was shocked I'd shook hands on the deal

SOooo ......... I took delivery of the Mercury Ocean Runner 420 last Saturday 10/3/2018 and I'll admit I was very nervous the deck layout might not work, with it being too cramped fitting the console designed for the larger 460 model. My second concern was with the boat sat on the trailer it'd not fit into my 5.1M maximum length within the garage due to Megaflow water tank and boiler

True to form Kevin didn't let me down and came up with the goods much to my delight :yay

Here's a few photos taken very quickly prior to me taking off on a weeks holiday :D ......... needless to say now I'm back home I'm wanting to get it out onto the water :drive

That looks cracking Paul, :clappy
It’s nice to see a small rib packed with family seating rather than the usual ”look at my helmet” :? Style

Can only echo previous comments that you've got yourself a cracking set up there Paul.
When I grow up I can envisage myself in something similar.
Enjoy :thumbsup :drive
