Hello everyone.
I am interested in learning more about FRIBs and different motors ( especially e-propulsion electrics ).
I live in Minnesota, next to Lake Superior as well as many lakes and rivers and I'm excited about exploring the waters with an inflatable. I have lots to learn so I have been reading a lot... during my searches today I found this site and I like the tone of it!
It looks like I have a lot of posts to read so I better get to it.

The FRIB is a cracking piece of kit and well worthy of its ever growing following.

Hi andy :welcome from across the pond.

I dont know alot about electric motors but one thing im confident about is that you should be able to get a good performance in terms of speed and battery longevity out of an F-Rib over the conventional sib with a material floor due to the very good slippery design of these boats.

Ive had a honwave previously which is admired as a good craft by sibbers but the F-Rib is a different league in my opinion from what ive seen and i get mine today.

Your right about this forum tho......very friendly with a diverse bunch that dont lambast or shun others in anyway. Good choice of forum.
Stick with this forum and you will be fine :yay :thumbsup :cheers

These are your dealers Andy,
Hope it helps.

Nautical Ventures
50 South Bryan Rd,
Dania Beach, FL 33004

Nautical Ventures
139 Shore court
North Palm Beach, FL 33408

Four Seas - San Diego
1715 Monmouth Dr
San Diego, California

I believe the e-propulsion are pretty new to the FRIB line up of accessories but they certainly seem to be far more user friendly than others on the market.
Personally I prefer petrol outboards, I wouldn't swap my suzuki efi for anything :thumbsup

Hi Andy and :welcome to the forum

F-Rib headquarters are based here in the UK and during my last visit they showed me the E-Propulsion setup, it certainly look impressive and very user friendly to this novice in new technology, me being a petrol head
They were running tests of it in "the real world'' at the time of my visit, so by now they should have some results to give you
Maybe an email to them frib@foldablerib.com explaining where you're located could gain you the information you require.
As said previously, the F-Rib hull is very efficient and doesn't require too much propulsion to get moving well in comparision to 'soft bottom' sibs :thumbsup
Good to have you aboard and shout out if you need any information or help :chat
:cheers
I walked through the door marked 'EXIT' and life is now good!
