Do you think this is decent value?
The reason I ask is that my purchase of the jet rib has fallen through so I am back looking at sibs and outboards
Thanks

Thanks Paul

I would say that's probably about the right price, Not cheap, not expensive, But with the added bonus of all the rest of the gear thrown in.

As long as it all checks out i would say it's worth the money if it's what you want :thumbsup

I would agree with Andy here; quite a lot of extra equipment which helps in this one...

For comparison, as new: https://www.ebcmarine.com/suzuki-15hp-3 ... -or-df20al

The Suzuki DF20AS is a really good motor though - highly rate ours. I guess second hand, you're looking for proof of the servicing mentioned at the right times during the OBs life.

:cheers

For some reason and I dont know why (possibly lack of knowledge) I have in my head that I need a 20hp outboard. How does an F rib 330 with a 15 compare to a T38 with a 20. I ask because the family will want to play with towable toys.

I would say the Frib goes extremely well with a 15 on it, and should be a good match for a 20 on the Honwave , it might have the legs on the Honwave just

The f-rib being a solid hull is more efficient than the Honwaves air deck so needs less horsepower to push it along. In fact the 15hp is the maximum recommended for the f-rib 330. That package will fly with the 15hp.

Martin run his old T38 with a Suzuki df15 and I had my T32 with a df9.9 converted to 15hp so basically the same engines and I only just had the legs on Martin with that set up, However when Martin got his F-rib 375 he run the 15 hp on that and promptly left me in his wake , so a 15hp will push the T38 to around mid 20s mph but the high 20s on the f-rib,

Ok so plan B :)
I am going to contact F-Rib and see what they can do for me as a package a 360 plus 20 hp outboard. The 360 will give me that little bit of extra room for the 3 grand kids and the wife. I will just have to up my budget a little bit :sos the boss will not be happy :thud I will just have to forget about the trailer for now.
Thanks again everyone for your help and patiance
