Honda Transom Wheels bit of a joke! Roll out the Rollers!

A sib is a soft floor inflatable boat (SIB) that will roll up and fit into a bag to ease with carrying or storage.
There are many different manufacturers and floor designs to suit your needs.

Jeezo Jim they look awful.
Whilst there is a little play (from side to side) in my wheels it doesn't disrupt wheeling the sib along - actally helps rolling over uneven surfaces.
I can see the thickness of the metal in the mounts is thinner and looks like a poor grade of metal.
I sincerely hope the dealer puts things right :thumbsup

Thanks Karman, emailed them this video earlier and no reply, maybe they sent it to the honda rep and awaiting a reply, either way they will be getting a visit from me in the next 2 days with a greased wheel leg ready to insert!!

Ha I was wrestling with mine for ages trying to get them back on in the drink, everyone had almost gone home by the time I got them on, floating all other the place they were!!!! There must be a knack to it!! :drive :LMT

Yup Hobbit they are a nightmare indeed :thud
I've found that dropping anchor a few hundred yards from shore or in a resonably sheltered spot not too far from port is the best approach.
Once the anchor sets the sib will sit bow into the oncoming seas.
That affords you a little shelter at the stern to connect the wheels.
Anchor up and head for shore in shallow water drive - cut the engine and pull the sib from the bow onto shore.
I've rigged a small 12v pump to dispel the odd splashes of water over the transom.
Each application is different but in the main I launch and retrieve from a mixture of sand / shingle beaches and a few sand / shingle harbours.
The protection afforded by a harbour wall can greatly assist retrieval. :thumbsup

Jeeeeez, looking at that vid you’re right, they really are cheap and thin compared to the ones I fitted.
I’d be tempted to take the money and run !

Not good at all, but mine where so bad I had no choice but to replace them as the sib tipped onto its side just rolling it in a straight line, :thud , get your money back and buy some decent ones, :thumbsup even the base plate which bolts to the transom was bent

Jim....
I've just watched your video on my desktop... Omg, they are abysmal :o
Who supplied those, and were they supplied as genuine Honda Marine?

No way in this world would Honda marine produce something as cheap and shabby as that, Attached with machine screws too .... Absolutely shocking !
As i said earlier, grab your money and run for the hills, That's the worse set I've seen to date :thud
