Cracking stuff Gurnard. You are right it got a wee bit nippy as the sun started to go down. But it was much warmer than the freezing fog Phil David and I experienced on our previous trip. Looking forward to the castle bit :)

Excellent stuff as per usual Mr Gurnard :cheers
I could see that being an epic trip to rival the WWA in warmer weather.
Tent at the ready and a circumnavigation of Bute and Arran and back via Ailsa Craig and the Ayrshire coadtline for good measure - Sibbers paradise :drive
That's a braw wee pup that
Dunno about the lard arse owner tho

Hi again Kaman.. yup the Scottish Sib outings are popular and some great guys attend.

Year 1 we went through the Corryvrechan and Grey Dogs and camped on Belnahua island
Year 2 we did a longer version of this route on the Clyde and camped on Loch Fyne
Year 3 was up the sound of Mull and camped in Loch Salen
This year..its Round Arran and Bute ..camping on the Campbeltown peninsula ..weather dependant of course.

Anyhoo..here is the last and final part of our day together on the Clyde .. My thanks for allowing the movie making to star seapup Fang .. she is a wee darling.

Many thanks for composing and posting Gurnard.
It was a most memorable day out.
Now I can revisit when I get scunnered listening to the rain and hail stoating off my living room window :party :drive

Looks a 'cracking' trip guys and thanks for sharing :TY
I wish that I lived nearer the coast to enable me to take advantage of the good weather breaks
Maybe when retirement arrives I'll re-locate and realise my dreams at last ...... I'll not be holding my breath though :thud
Enjoy chaps :!: :!:
:cheers
I walked through the door marked 'EXIT' and life is now good!
