Long range forecast looking possible for Redcar, but I'd make plans for Anglesey as well. As I said before, the forecasts can change over night for round here, probably best to make the call Thursday.

So is the plan to Fish at Redcar weather allowing, with plan B going to Anglesey?

There's also Splash Point at Old Conwy, I believe there's a reef towards Raynes Jetty that's good for a variety of species. The lad who told me about this said
it can blow up a bit here, in which case he heads for Anglesey...

If you want to have a look at the Granville Terrace slip;

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@54.6164213,-1.0538547,112m/data=!3m1!1e3

If you zoom out you will see some of the Scaurs, top of map, these are exposed at low water.

Directions from A1 Dishforth (about 50 minutes). A168/A19 to A174. A174 to Redcar Lane, down Redcar Lane, turn right after level crossing. 2nd left on roundabout and you're there.

Parking; Tractors, 4x4s etc park to the left of the slip (looking out to sea) above the high water mark, be aware at high water you can't get off the beach. People do park on the slip, usually Jetskiers and Yakkers, but free parking is available along the Coast RD. For some reason the first couple of hundred yards on the sea side is limited to 2 hours, but if you park next to Zetland park or further along you are ok.

A couple of shots of the slip.

Anything from a couple of hundred yards to a couple of miles. Also from the back of the Redcar scaurs down to Saltburn, plenty to go at. :D
