Glencoe boat club

Postby Paul B » Sun May 14, 2017 10:47 pm

Today was the RYA push the boat out event at Glencoe boat club on Loch Leven, it's designed to get people interested in all aspects of boating, from kayaks to yachts,

Many club members turned out with their own boats to take people whom have never experienced boating at all out on the water,
The local sea explorer fast rib boat was out taking people out for around 30 minute trips for the pricley sum of £7.50 per person, which considering the rib is running 2 evinrude 200hp engines is a bargain, with all proceeds going to the club funds,

There was a young lady called Oban Duncan who's a junior powerboat champion, taking people out on trips in her Highfield rib, which was a great way to get the younger visitors interested,

We even had a race off against her around a set course in the bay, Oban went first to set standard time, needless to say myself and few others got their arses truly whipped by a 11year old girl  infect she whipped everybody who tried out her awesome little rib, :IANW
