Bloody hell, mate, that sounds painful! :thud

Were you being a tight wad trying to save paying a window cleaner? :shame
Or was it a case of making a quick exit before her hubby came upstairs and caught you 'in flagrante delecto'? :busted

Seriously though, hope you mend soon Andy. ;-)

:cheers
cheers
Roger

Wow..you have my sympathy Andy.

I fell into a ravine two years ago and bust a rib..bent my knee ..and squished some gut parts ..so can feel your pain.. especially trying to get out a bed ..first thing in the morning. :o :(

I wont say anything funny ... as it also hurts when laughing.. so best wishes for a fast recovery .. get better soon :thumbsup

About the day:
To my suprise Neil had arrived on site with an Avon 3.4M rib he'd recently 'acquired' to which he'd hung a 25hp OB ..... hmm this'll be interesting we both agreed, let's go and see what its like
We launched at Warsash in clear weather but as we exited the Hamble the fog started to close in on us.
Neil's setup performed perfectly however we only achieved 24 knots due to the fog closing in on us so we don't know its full potential but it'll be a flyer I'm sure :drive
Conditions deteriorated further and no place to be in the busy shipping lane in a small boat :no so with a wee bit of navigation and use of a compass we navigated our passage back to the Hamble though the fog to pop into Steve Bruce at F-Rib HQ at Hamble point, catch up with the gossip, have lunch and stretch our legs.
Following our visit to Steve conditions were unchanged, so we headed up the Hamble 'window shopping' some of the 10,000 boats moored along the river as far as the A27 and then returned to Warsash to retrieve.
Only 12 miles covered but all in all a good day on the water after a 3 month break :thumbsup
Thanks for the company Neil and we'll resume testing soon :thumbsup
:cheers
