Life goes on : (

Post by nala » 12 Oct 2018, 19:24

Well been such an emotional roller coaster this last month having lost Dad and my youngest son getting married .
Haven't had the motivation to take the sib out : (
But not for shore ( pier ) fishing !
The Menai pier that is .........
Well bass has been caught smoothound, codling, whiting, Pollack, coalie, blenny, doggie etc plus many more species.
And a shock horror a red mullet ! ! !
What the ......... is a red mullet doing here ?
Never have I seen one in all my born and fishing days here ? ! ? !
They're down South usually !
But, pleased and shocked nevertheless : )
And it did help somewhat with the grieving process, not forgetting my son's wedding which was awesome !
It's why we have to appreciate what life brings and celebrate whenever we can : ) !
And keep doing what we enjoy most !
Fishing !!!!!!!!!!

Life does go on Alan, even when you lose a loved one, but things will improve and your fishing will help that. It was fishing that kept me going when i lost my dad and without fishing, i dont know how i would have coped. Good luck for the future.

Life does go on and I pray the day comes soon when you can think of you father with loving memories and a smile rather than a tear. I lost my father just over a year ago and I am now beginning to think about him with a smile and know you will also. I pity the local fish!
