Perfecto Chris... Makes the forum catch up easy (imo)
The new "Active topics" in the bottom right hand menu bar is taking some getting used to on the phone, but as its all a responsive design - you'll see that "Active Topics" appears on the foot bar on a larger screen.

We have a very clever chap on board guys that offered his help immediatly after the upgrade issues were found, He's been as patient as hell with my working week agenda and gone the extra mile to help whilst he's been working.
Thankyou very much to ChrisParish for his wonderful work.....

Well we appear to have had a pretty smooth upgrade so far, anyone seeing any issues or problems?
Anything you want adding?

Just a trial thing Andy, it only shows when someone gives thanks..
The most helpful posts/replies gets a higher rating and will list higher in the forum search engine.
It doesn’t seem very good tbh, I think it’ll be going.

One thought Martin, when you google fribs and sibs you end up on the .com landing page. To my eyes, it isn't very obvious where the forum is on this page.

I now know it is under the hamburger menu option on top right, but if you are quickly looking, or looking on some mobile devices you may not even notice this.

I would be inclined to have the forum more obvious on the landing page, either with a big button, click here link or something that makes it easier for newbies or people looking for the first time to find the forum.

HTH

Cheers,

Paul.

Hi Paul,
The website is an ongoing project, yes it’s live but all the links to the forum that are available on the web take you via f-ribsandsibs.com/index.php and then the relevant page.. unless of course you type in f-ribsandsibs - that will then list the .com page at the top of google search.
The upgrade has been a long process and getting the forum back live was the main objective.
The forum is now fully functional, the redirects are sorted to pull everything into here.

You’ll see the .com webpage progress bit by it..
if you noticed, I’ve popped a button on the home page already (about a month ago) it’s labelled “join us”
That links straight to the forum.

Ongoing process - we have limited options for seo on the forum so the way to do it is through the website.
Thanks for the heads up anyway..
Appreciated 👍🏻
