Post by beerbelly » 17 May 2018, 18:11

hi folks haven't been on for a while tried a few different craft and currently have a valiant v570 rib with a mercury 100 lovely it is too .I tried a warrior 165 but wasn't keen so that's now living on Shetland .but im going to look at and probably buy a plastimo ms310 folding rib on sunday .I thought I could use the 4hp aux of my rib and use it on the tees and the ouse at our caravan .maybe keep an eye out for a 9.9hp and use it in the sea . so a small portable boaty thing in the family again wahoo :drive

Yeah, a small boat is always a nice thing to own as well ;-)
Great portability, ease of use to get out on the water in a 'moment' :drive
Enjoy and keep in touch :thumbsup
:cheers
I walked through the door marked 'EXIT' and life is now good!

I've been in much the same position - only been able to use the 3m sib once since I got it . Have swapped the 15hp Johnson for a nice 9.9 4stroke Yam - much more usable on the river and without the noise and probably just as quick bar 1or 2 knts .... Might get a chance on Sunday/ Monday hopefully ! :)

Way more fun in small stuff :)
