Last weekend off Anglesey

Went boat fishing with a good friend in that cold sea mist : O !

What a great day and an opportunity to try new tactics ..,..

Fish were caught from start to finish there was never a dull moment :)

7 species ranging from launce , Pollack, Coalfish, Codling , Whiting , Black Bream and Doggies :O !

Well done on the fishing, did you get them on bait or lures?

Yes, the lures were baited with ragworm , black lug and or squid . Not too much bait as to obscure the hook . Also caught just using the unbaited hokkais . I didn't split them up I left them as a 5 hook trace usually I do a 3 and a 2 to minimise tackle loss. The fladden ones with a lumi beads above the hook worked well size 4 hook . Carry a variety of them as the fishing dictates and you won't go far wrong.
