Hi New Member

Post by Triumph72 » 28 Mar 2018, 14:21

Hi, just joined the forum, I have just bought a used Honwave with a 20hp Honda, been used to
Ribs in years gone bye and sold my last Rib a few years ago, being retired now I want to do some fishing
and pottering about, mostly around the Clyde area. Hopefully the weather will be kinder this year.

Been looking around the Forum and hope to put to good use some of the mods to make the Sib more user
friendly :wavey

Hi

Thanks once again for the warm welcome.
I have not ventured out yet with the boat, apart from the Easterly winds that are pretty constant at the
moment, I do prefer a bit more heat, turning into Southerlies and misty as I type.

I have fixed up another trailer for the Boat with rollers on it so I can get it off easier, the one it came with
has bunks but where I will be launching is not far from me and should be ok for short distances.

The Honda 20hp is quite a bit heavier than I anticipated and I think I will look into purchasing a smaller engine for general pottering.
My Grandson is keen to go out fishing and hopefully, we can get out soon

Max
