Hi Ian I'm midlands based as well. So far I have used my Honwave on The Solent, Jurrasic coast, & in Scotland. The great thing about The Midlands is it's pretty easy to get to all the coastlines.

Hi again Ian,
The South coast is great, as is Scotland...Maybe you could grab a holiday somewhere and take your Honwave wth you ?

How did you cope with the T38?
I remember you we're struggling to decide between that and a T40ae
F-RibsAndSibs.Com.... :whistle
Because it's a big old WWworld out there

Hi Martin.
Really impressed with the T38 after only using it a couple of times. So easy to set up and it fits in the boot of a Passat est, with the engine, Fuel tank, oars, pump, seats etc.....
With only a 10 Hp Mercury, it does plod along ok with 4 adults, but the fun starts when it’s just me & my son. I would like a 20HP, but that’s for next year. I need a bravo pump first, those foot pumps take some Doing to get the pressures needed.
We now have to plan our holidays around somewhere that has water access, So it’s Fowey again this year!!!! We do live very close to the river Severn, Bewdley, Stourport, Worcester area, So I’m looking for any info on launching places / Slipways just for day use.
Also just started camping again, So the idea is, chuck it all in the boot after work on a Friday, for a couple of nights. Was looking at Bala lake, may just have to have a sneaky ride up on the Triumph to have a look.

Ian71,

I'm in the same position now, as you were 4 years ago - living in the Midlands, with a newly acquired SIB, and looking for local places to launch (lakes and rivers).
What suggestions for local launches do you have after 4 years experience? (Or, of course, anyone else!)
