Hi HSJ, Welcome to the forum. :welcome
I'm not aware of anyone purchasing the f-rib 430 as yet, I'm very curious about it too.... Generally speaking, the bigger the boat the better the ride so i'd love a go in one
F-RibsAndSibs.Com.... :whistle
Because it's a big old WWworld out there

I bet you would Martin.. although I think it would be more of an aeroplane than a boat ..68kg weight driven by a 30hp OB.. it would be in the air more than the water :yay :o

.....??? Exocet.

I actually think that a remotely steered Yamaha F25GES would offer a useful power to weight ratio ...... especially on Swiss lakes.

I think the Gurnard may have been pointing out I line to go s little quick from time to time and me with a 30hp would probably not be too good

If your only using it in the lakes, that’s s big craft :o
Do you have lots of family members joining you?

If you’re wanting something that folds up, the 3.75 FRIB I own is exceptional (in my opinion) :thumbsup

Swiss lakes can be pretty big Martin, lake Geneva is 45 miles long and shares a border with France, lake Constance shares borders with Germany and Austria and Lake Maggiore shares a border with Italy. The all make Windermere look like an inlet.

OK so you guys are scaring me, im looking at the 430 as a replacement to my old zodiac currently being pushed by a Evinrude E-Tec 30. Its stable but slow as its a SIB. Advice on this would be good, I want to be flying over the waves but not be air born.
